I had the benefit of participating in a GenderSpeak workshop led by Tammy Hughes for my employer and it was a highlight of my work year! Tammy’s insight into the different “lenses” that each of us wears based on our experiences as men or women was incredibly insightful and has helped me reflect not only on my own communication style but also how I can be more empathetic and effective as a leader in my organization.

We recently held a national convention of equine vets attended by 5,000+ people that featured Tammy as our Keynote speaker. The conference attendees were a broad demographic range from older practice owners, largely male dominated currently, to younger female associates who dominate the younger vet sector – Tammy was a hit. In our post conference survey greater than 80% of the people were very satisfied or extremely satisfied with her keynote. She was informative, data driven, engaging and funny – people are still nodding!

Tammy Hughes spoke at two of our conferences of completely different audiences, women and CEOs, with equally fantastic results. She masterfully set the stage first describing what her comprehensive data research revealed then using real-life examples to allow her audiences to relate. Says one CEO, “Tammy Hughes was excellent and interesting. She covered a topic I haven’t heard much about at recent conferences – so fresh and helpful!
